Mrs. Canipe began her role as Head of School August of 2023. She had served as Principal/ Lead Teacher at Woodfield since 2018. As she begins her 15th year at Woodfield, she is looking forward to bringing more awareness to the surrounding communities about Woodfield and our mission: serving students with professionally diagnosed learning differences. 

Mrs. Canipe has a BS.Ed in Special Education from Western Carolina and a Master’s of Education in Teacher Leadership from Thomas University. After moving to Macon, Ga in 2004 with her husband of 33 years, Rick Canipe, she homeschooled her 2 boys until she started her career here. Her family has now grown with one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
